If you are seeking therapy, chances are you are ready to make profound changes happen in your life. The rising cost of healthcare can make accessing treatment seem daunting and even inaccessible at times. We partner with a platform called Headway, in order to offer treatment as in-network providers for specific services with participating insurance plans.

 

Currently, the following private insurance companies partner with us, we are unable to work with Medicaid at this time:

 

New York State:

• Aetna

• Anthem/Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield

• Optum

• Oscar Health

• Oxford

• United Health Care

• World Trade Center Health Program

Do you have an insurance provider or insurance sub-network/group that we are out-of-network with or do you live in Florida or New Jersey? If so, we will work with you so you can use your out-of-network benefits to receive reimbursement for treatment. If you are unsure if you have out-of-network benefits or how much you will be reimbursed, please speak with your insurance provider for more details.

 

Due to the nature of therapy, appointment length will depend on your particular need. We generally provide 45-55 minute therapy sessions at a rate of $225-$300 per appointment, based upon your needs and treatment type. Appointment times may be extended up to 85 minutes, depending upon your needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out to determine your appointment costs.

Weekly DBT Skills classes are 90 minutes long and are $125 per class. Skills class is often not covered by insurance, so please speak with your insurance provider for more information. If you are unable to join a class for any reason, we also offer flexible options for 1-1 individual skills coaching.

Please note, parent coaching is often not covered under insurance. Although there have been recent changes by the center of medicare and medicaid (which sets the codes used for billing) and provide new ways for patients to be reimbursed for these services, it is not always a guarantee. We will do our best to assist you in seeking reimbursement for these services and are happy to coordinate with your insurance provider.
