Treatment

What does JP treat?

Anxiety

Chronic stress and anxiety can make everyday life feel exhausting and unmanageable. JP aims to help clients understand the root of their anxiety and the patterns that maintain it. Using cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies, he helps clients slow down, challenge anxious thoughts, and develop practical coping skills to navigate life transitions, work stress, and daily challenges with greater ease and confidence.

Neurodivergence & ADHD

Navigating a neurotypical world  can often leave a person feeling overwhelmed and misunderstood. JP embraces a neurodiversity-affirming approach, working collaboratively with individuals to help them understand how their minds work rather than trying to fit them into a one-size-fits-all mold. By integrating evidence based treatments with a deeply compassionate understanding of daily lived experiences, JP will help you manage executive functioning challenges, process burnout, build self-esteem, and leverage your natural strengths to thrive.

Couples & Families

Relationships are foundational to our well-being, but they require dedication and insight. Working with couples and families, JP utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to address communication breakdowns, family conflict, marital issues, and life transitions. He helps partners and family members explore how they relate to one another, resolve surface conflicts, and heal deeper relational patterns to foster stronger, healthier connections.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

The relentless cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions to act upon them that come with OCD can be incredibly overwhelming. JP is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD. By creating a warm, trusting, and supportive environment, he gently guides and challenges individuals through the process of facing the obsessive thoughts and resisting compulsions. Together, you will work to break free from the grip of OCD, reduce anxiety, and reclaim your peace of mind.

Depression

Depression often clouds how we see ourselves and how we relate to the world around us. JP provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore these feelings. By integrating CBT and DBT, he partners with his clients to challenge depressive thought patterns, become ‘unstuck,’ and take meaningful steps toward personal growth and renewed self-esteem.
